Doing two 60 - 90 second videos, then uploading them to YouTube can be done inexpensively. A PowerPoint slide show plus voiceover, video touring around your facilities with voiceover, or a simple "talking head" these are not costly or difficult.

Here are some tips:
(1) YouTube account should have your business name,
(2) Use business keyword phrases in your video TITLE and DESCRIPTION and TAGS,
(3) Business name, website and contact info in the video,
(4) Keep your video short, 60 - 90 seconds,
(5) Post your videos to Facebook and other social networking sites using the YouTube URL (do not upload the video newly elsewhere),
(6) Use the YouTube embedding code to add the video to your website (again, do not upload the video newly),
(7) Boost your video "in-house" by favoriting and liking the video.

Once you've got a video, if you like some things about it and you don't like other aspects, I recommend that you upload it to YouTube now. Waiting for a perfect video invites procrastination. Just resolve to make your next video better.

Today's Joke

A man walks into a local pub after work and is surprised to find only one other person at the bar, an old man at the back end reading a paper. The bartender is washing a glass. There are bowls of peanuts at intervals on the mostly spotless bar.

The man orders a beer, looks out of the window and a small voice next to him says "You look great today!"

He looks around and there's no one else present, just the old man at the other end of the bar and the bartender.

The man decides that it must have been a radio outside and takes a sip of beer and a small voice says "People like being around you because you're a winner!"

He turns, sees no one there, gets out of his seat, leans over the bar and finds no one behind the bar. The only other people in the place are the old man and the bartender.

A little shakey now, the man takes a deep pull on his beer and a little voice says "I bet you do great with the ladies" and the man jumps up, knocking over his chair. The bartender walks over.

"Is everything alright?" asks the bartender.

"A small voice keeps saying nice things about me but there's no one there!" says the man, shaking his head.

The bartender points at a nearby bowl of peanuts on the bar.

"It's the peanuts," says the bartender. "They're complimentary."
